We have a surprise for you!
I don't think I'm letting any cat out of the bag to say that we are working on a new Torment video that has (gasp!) actual gameplay! I know this has been something to look forward to in a game's development and I hope we can deliver something into your hands very soon. I don't want to put my big ol' feet in my mouth but I think I can safely say it will happen in maybe a week or two... or three. Rest assured, Greg Peterson and his little gang will probably smear it all over the place if they have their way. On the subject of art for the gamers, I'd like to say Josh is hammering away at a fine new website for all you people. (I hope that's no secret). I'd also invite anyone interested in getting some 'feeder' art for a homegrown Torment website to contact me. I'll give you any and all the stuff that is out in the public domain and maybe an extra piece of art of two (just for being the great person you are). Heck, if you put up a site the team likes maybe we'll come over to your house... and clean out your fridge! Several people (Eric Campanella) have suggested that we toss up some simple movies of our characters just doing their thing in the game (walking, spells, etc). Some of these people (Eric Campanella) have even volunteered to put in overtime to deliver these little gems. Well, I'll see if we can do something this week, so these people (Eric Campanella) can finally have their great idea see the light of day. I will say that since some of these people are quite busy now (Eric Campanella), it will probably be myself delivering the goodies ASAP. Did I mention this team cares? Beyond that we are still busy as heck getting the game together. When I said last week that I can see the end, it was true. However, there is a crazy amount of work to do before it's all fully realized. I can honestly say the thing that is keeping me going is the knowledge this game will rock. Even with all the crazy time constraints we are managing some daily miracles. Until next week (or sooner),
