I think this project became 'real' when we got to the point where we could see the end. That point was a couple months ago and
when it came there wasn't so much a sigh of relief as a sigh of exhaustion. We realized then all the work we still had.
As of today there's been phenomenal progress. More areas, characters and gameplay have been plugged in. A good sign by any account. But that's not the reason this game is going to be great. The reason this game is going to be great is that the team is still excited about it. There's still a passion in the air. People care. We still get excited when we hear from the fans and we get disappointed when we're criticized. If that weren't happening, I'd be worried. To close this out, I'd like to give you guys a little peek into how some of the Planescape art is generated, specifically, the backgrounds. I have included pictures of the basic process for one of our locations.
